"Therefore I beg you to take some food, for this is for your safety; for not a hair will perish from any of your heads.""
— Acts 27:34, World English Bible
“Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.”
“Wherefore I beseech you to take some food: for this is for your safety: for there shall not a hair perish from the head of any of you. ”
“Therefore I urge you to take some food, for this is important for your survival. For not one of you will lose a hair from his head.””
“Wherefore, I pray you to take some meat for your health's sake: for there shall not an hair of the head of any of you perish.”
“So I make request to you to take food; for this is for your salvation: not a hair from the head of any of you will come to destruction.”
“Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.”
Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, "Unless these stay in the ship, you can't be saved."
Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the boat, and let it fall off.
While the day was coming on, Paul begged them all to take some food, saying, "This day is the fourteenth day that you wait and continue fasting, having taken nothing.
Therefore I beg you to take some food, for this is for your safety; for not a hair will perish from any of your heads."
When he had said this, and had taken bread, he gave thanks to God in the presence of all, and he broke it, and began to eat.
Then they all cheered up, and they also took food.
In all, we were two hundred seventy-six souls on the ship.
