“but he whom God raised up saw no corruption. ”
“But he whom God raised up saw no decay.”
“but the one whom God raised up did not experience decay.”
“But he whom God hath raised from the dead saw no corruption.”
“But he, who was lifted up by God, did not see destruction.”
“But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.”
And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
Why he says also in another psalm, You shall not suffer your Holy One to see corruption.
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid to his fathers, and saw corruption:
But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. ¶
Be it known to you therefore, men and brothers, that through this man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins:
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Beware therefore, lest that come on you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
