American King James Version
"Why, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. "
— 2 Peter 3:14, American King James Version
“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”
“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight. ”
“Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without blemish and blameless in his sight.”
“Exhortation to the Faithful Therefore, dear friends, since you are waiting for these things, strive to be found at peace, without spot or blemish, when you come into his presence.”
“Wherefore, dearly beloved, waiting for these things, be diligent that you may be found before him unspotted and blameless in peace.”
“For this reason, my loved ones, as you are looking for these things, take great care that when he comes you may be in peace before him, free from sin and every evil thing.”
“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hastening to the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
Why, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
And account that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given to him has written to you;
As also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
