"For this reason, I will always begin to admonish you about these things, even though, certainly, you know them and are confirmed in the present truth. "
— 2 Peter 1:12, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.”
“Wherefore I shall be ready always to put you in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth which is with you. ”
“Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you of these things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.”
“Salvation Based on the Word of God Therefore, I intend to remind you constantly of these things even though you know them and are well established in the truth that you now have.”
“For which cause, I will begin to put you always in remembrance of these things: though indeed you know them and are confirmed in the present truth.”
“For this reason I will be ready at all times to keep your memory of these things awake, though you have the knowledge of them now and are well based in your present faith.”
“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.”
For he who does not have these things at hand is blind and groping, being forgetful of his purification from his former offenses.
Because of this, brothers, be all the more diligent, so that by good works you may make certain your calling and election. For in doing these things, you do not sin at any time.
For in this way, you shall be provided abundantly with an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For this reason, I will always begin to admonish you about these things, even though, certainly, you know them and are confirmed in the present truth.
But I consider it just, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up with admonishments.
For it is certain that the laying to rest of this, my tabernacle, is approaching swiftly, just as our Lord Jesus Christ has also indicated to me.
Therefore, I will present a work for you to have, so that, frequently after my passing, you may call to mind these things.
