"I am grateful to the one who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me faithful in putting me into ministry,"
— 1 Timothy 1:12, NET Bible
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;”
“I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service; ”
“And I thank him who enabled me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service;”
“I give him thanks who hath strengthened me, even to Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he hath counted me faithful, putting me in the ministry:”
“I give praise to him who gave me power, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he took me to be true, making me his servant,”
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;”
realizing that law is not intended for a righteous person, but for lawless and rebellious people, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,

I am grateful to the one who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me faithful in putting me into ministry,
even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I was treated with mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief,
and our Lord’s grace was abundant, bringing faith and love in Christ Jesus.
This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance:“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”– and I am the worst of them!
