“For so was it charged me by the word of the Lord, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.”
“for so was it charged me by the word of Jehovah, saying, Thou shalt eat no bread, nor drink water, neither return by the way that thou camest. ”
“for so was it commanded me by the word of Yahweh, saying, 'You shall eat no bread, nor drink water, neither return by the way that you came.'"”
“For this is how I was commanded in the LORD’s message,‘Eat no food. Drink no water. And do not return by the way you came.’””
“For so it was enjoined me by the word of the Lord commanding me: Thou shalt not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way that thou camest.”
“For so I was ordered by the word of the Lord, who said, You are not to take food or a drink of water, and you are not to go back the way you came.”

Then the king said to the man of God: “Come home with me, so that you may dine. And I will give you gifts.”
And the man of God responded to the king: “Even if you will give me one half part of your house, I will not go with you, nor eat bread, nor drink water in this place.

And their father said to them, “By which way did he depart?” His sons showed him the way by which the man of God, who had come from Judah, had departed.
