— 1 John 5:6, Catholic Public Domain Version
“This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.”
“This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. ”
“This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.”
“Jesus Christ is the one who came by water and blood– not by the water only, but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.”
“This is he that came by water and blood, Jesus Christ: not by water only but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit which testifieth that Christ is the truth.”
“This is he who came by water and by blood, Jesus Christ; not by water only but by water and by blood.”
“This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.”
For this is the love of God: that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not heavy.
For all that is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world: our faith.
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God!
This is the One who came by water and blood: Jesus Christ. Not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit is the One who testifies that the Christ is the Truth.
For there are Three who give testimony in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. And these Three are One.
And there are three who give testimony on earth: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood. And these three are one.
If we accept the testimony of men, then the testimony of God is greater. For this is the testimony of God, which is greater: that he has testified about his Son.
