American King James Version
"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. "
— 1 John 3:18, American King James Version
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth. ”
“My little children, let's not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.”
“Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth.”
“My little children, let us not love in word nor in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
“My little children, do not let our love be in word and in tongue, but let it be in act and in good faith.”
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
But whoever has this world’s good, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him?
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
