American King James Version
"Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you have heard from the beginning. "
— 1 John 2:7, American King James Version
“Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.”
“Beloved, no new commandment write I unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: the old commandment is the word which ye heard. ”
“Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.”
“Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have already heard.”
“Dearly beloved, I write not a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you have heard.”
“My loved ones, I do not give you a new law, but an old law which you had from the first; this old law is the word which came to your ears.”
“Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.”
He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps his word, in him truly is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that says he stays in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you have heard from the beginning.
Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines.
He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now.
He that loves his brother stays in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
