— 1 Chronicles 17:16, American King James Version
“And David the king came and sat before the Lord, and said, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?”
“Then David the king went in, and sat before Jehovah; and he said, Who am I, O Jehovah God, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far? ”
“Then David the king went in, and sat before Yahweh; and he said, "Who am I, Yahweh God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?”
“David Praises God King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said:“Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my family, that you should have brought me to this point?”
“And king David came and sat before the Lord, and said: Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that thou shouldst give such things to me?”
“Then David the king went in and took his seat before the Lord, and said, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my family, that you have been my guide till now?”

I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before you:
But I will settle him in my house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for ever more.
According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak to David. ¶
And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me till now?
And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O God; for you have also spoken of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
What can David speak more to you for the honor of your servant? for you know your servant.
O LORD, for your servant’s sake, and according to your own heart, have you done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
