NASB
""For the head of Aram is Damascus and the head of Damascus is Rezin (now within another years Ephraim will be shattered, so that it is no longer a people),"
— Isaiah 7:8, NASB
“For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken in pieces, so that it shall not be a people: ”
“For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within sixty-five years Ephraim shall be broken in pieces, so that it shall not be a people;”
“For Syria’s leader is Damascus, and the leader of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty-five years Ephraim will no longer exist as a nation.”
“For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin (and in sixty-five years from now Ephraim will be broken, and will no longer be a people):”
“For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.”
'Because Aram, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has planned evil against you, saying,
"Let us go up against Judah and terrorize it, and make for ourselves a breach in its walls and set up the son of Tabeel as king in the midst of it,"
thus says the Lord GOD: "It shall not stand nor shall it come to pass.
"For the head of Aram is Damascus and the head of Damascus is Rezin (now within another years Ephraim will be shattered, so that it is no longer a people),
and the head of Ephraim is Samaria and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you will not believe, you surely shall not last."'"
Then the LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
"Ask a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven."
