"You have released the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sins. "
— Psalms 84:3, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.”
“Yea, the sparrow hath found her a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, My King, and my God. ”
“Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, near your altars, Yahweh of Armies, my King, and my God.”
“Even the birds find a home there, and the swallow builds a nest, where she can protect her young near your altars, O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, my king and my God.”
“Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people: thou hast covered all their sins.”
“The little birds have places for themselves, where they may put their young, even your altars, O Lord of armies, my King and my God.”
“Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.”
Unto the end. A Psalm to the sons of Korah.
O Lord, you have blessed your land. You have turned aside the captivity of Jacob.
You have released the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sins.
You have mitigated all your wrath. You have turned aside from the wrath of your indignation.
Convert us, O God, our Savior, and turn your anger away from us.
Will you be angry with us forever? And will you extend your wrath from generation to generation?
