"So then, truly his salvation is near to those who fear him, so that glory may inhabit our land. "
— Psalms 84:10, Catholic Public Domain Version
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. ”
“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
“Certainly spending just one day in your temple courts is better than spending a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the entrance to the temple of my God than live in the tents of the wicked.”
“Surely his salvation is near to them that fear him : that glory may dwell in our land.”
“For a day in your house is better than a thousand. It is better to be a door-keeper in the house of my God, than to be living in the tents of sin.”
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
O God, you will turn back and revive us. And your people will rejoice in you.
O Lord, reveal to us your mercy, and grant to us your salvation.
I will listen to what the Lord God may be saying to me. For he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints, and to those who are being converted to the heart.
So then, truly his salvation is near to those who fear him, so that glory may inhabit our land.
Mercy and truth have met each other. Justice and peace have kissed.
Truth has risen from the earth, and justice has gazed down from heaven.
For so will the Lord give goodness, and our earth will give her fruit.
