— Psalms 50:3, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.”

“Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.”
““May our God come and not be silent.” Consuming fire goes ahead of him and all around him a storm rages.”
“Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy great mercy. And according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my iniquity.”
“Our God will come, and will not keep quiet; with fire burning before him, and storm-winds round him.”
“Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.”
Unto the end. A Psalm of David,
when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he went to Bathsheba.
Be merciful to me, O God, according to your great mercy. And, according to the plentitude of your compassion, wipe out my iniquity.
Wash me once again from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my iniquity, and my sin is ever before me.
Against you only have I sinned, and I have done evil before your eyes. And so, you are justified in your words, and you will prevail when you give judgment.
