"Let his mercies confess to the Lord, and let his miracles confess to the sons of men. "
— Psalms 106:8, Catholic Public Domain Version
“Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.”
“Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, That he might make his mighty power to be known. ”
“Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power known.”
“Yet he delivered them for the sake of his reputation, that he might reveal his power.”
“Let the mercies of the Lord give glory to him: and his wonderful works to the children of men.”
“But he was their saviour because of his name, so that men might see his great power.”
“Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.”
They were hungry, and they were thirsty. Their soul fainted within them.
And they cried out to the Lord in tribulation, and he rescued them in their necessity.
And he led them in the right way, so that they might go forth to a city of habitation.
Let his mercies confess to the Lord, and let his miracles confess to the sons of men.
For he has satisfied the empty soul, and he has satisfied the hungry soul with good things:
those sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death, shackled by extreme poverty and by iron.
For they exasperated the eloquence of God, and they irritated the deliberation of the Most High.
