"Are not your garments hot, when the south wind blows across the land? "
— Job 37:17, Catholic Public Domain Version
“How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?”
“How thy garments are warm, When the earth is still by reason of the southwind? ”
“You whose clothing is warm, when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?”
“You, whose garments are hot when the earth is still because of the south wind,”
“Are not thy garments hot, when the south wind blows upon the earth?”
“You, whose clothing is warm, when the earth is quiet because of the south wind,”
“How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?”
Listen to these things, Job. Stand up and consider the wonders of God.

Do you know the great paths of the clouds, and the perfect sciences?
Are not your garments hot, when the south wind blows across the land?
Perhaps you have made the heavens with him, which are very solid, as if they had been cast from brass.

Who will explain to him the things that I am saying? Even while a man is still speaking, he will be devoured.
