“The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.”
“The sojourner that is in the midst of thee shall mount up above thee higher and higher; and thou shalt come down lower and lower. ”

And all these curses shall come to you, and shall pursue you, and shall take hold of you, until you pass away, because you would not listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and you would not serve his commandments and ceremonies, which he has instructed to you.
And there will be the signs and portents with you, and with your offspring, forever.
