"And if Christ has not risen, then our preaching is useless, and your faith is also useless. "
— 1 Corinthians 15:14, Catholic Public Domain Version
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.”
“and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain. ”
“If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.”
“And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is futile and your faith is empty.”
“And if Christ be not risen again, then is our preaching vain: and your faith is also vain.”
“And if Christ did not come again from the dead, then our good news and your faith in it are of no effect.”
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.”
For whether it is I or they: so we preach, and so you have believed.
Now if Christ is preached, that he rose again from the dead, how is it that some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not risen.
And if Christ has not risen, then our preaching is useless, and your faith is also useless.
Then, too, we would be found to be false witnesses of God, because we would have given testimony against God, saying that he had raised up Christ, when he had not raised him up, if, indeed, the dead do not rise again.
For if the dead do not rise again, then neither has Christ risen again.
But if Christ has not risen, then your faith is vain; for you would still be in your sins.
